Pedlr June Newsletter

The June Newsletter is coming to you a bit late, in "lei'd" back style.  I'm
currently on my honeymoon in Hawaii, overlooking the ocean as I'm writing this.

I just slipped away for a second because it's almost July (I got way behind
because of wedding-prep), and I don't want to deprive you of your privilege -
nay: your RIGHT to a June Newsletter.
...I'll be quick.

1.  June/July's Featured Artist - Akrasia

Akrasia has a great sound and uncommonly well-written lyrics.  They're bound
for world-conquest and have been rocking up and down the East Coast of the US.
The band recently won the Battle of The Bands for the second year in a row at
Penn State - one of the largest universities in the world.

They recently released "Aphrodite Kallipygos" and are rocking live gigs on a
regular basis.  If you're in Pittsburgh PA, be sure to check out their next
show at Spice Cafe on June 23rd (see their profile for more info).

Since June is almost over, Akrasia will be the featured artist for the
remainder of June and all of July - bonus pretzel for both Akrasia and
The VANES who got an extra-long May.

2.  Super-alliterative Sweet Summer Seven of '07

The details of this will be released in next month's newsletter, but 4S-7 is
going to be the driving force behind massive changes to Pedlr this summer.
We're going to be releasing a new (sizable) feature every week for seven weeks!

We have some ideas, but right now we're using this newsletter to fish for more.
If you have a new, radical idea or just some feature you've been burning to see
on the site, let us know and it might be included!
