Just writing this entry to let you guys know that I'm on my honeymoon and I'll be back July 1st, at which point I'll catch up on all these emails and Pedlr-messages.

Today we're going to BarCamp Rochester. It has nothing to do with "Bars" as in drinking, it's an event primarily for techies and entrepreneurs... (the long version: it's a geek-pun off of the commonly used variable "FooBar" when teaching programming and the fact that a similar type of event was called FooCamp).

It's an "un"conference, and I've yet to really figure out what that means (I think you have to experience one in person), but it seems somehow related to a wiki system for conferences... I mean un-conferences? One thing I know for sure is that EVERYONE presents on something.

Geoff and I are going to be presenting on viral growth, namely from The Tipping Point. I've read the book twice now and I think it has a good amount of advice for creating viral growth explained through a pretty constant stream of anecdotes.
