It's gonna be freakin' awesome!
Great bands, and should be great nights full of (for the most part legal) drugs and booze. Hell yeah, it's gonna damn well rock hard.

So, I've used LyricWiki for a while now for lyrics, because I'm very much into the whole wiki spirit. Anyway, I got a mail today about pedlr, so I thought I'd check it out.
So far it seems pretty nice, still in it's infancy so it could use more features and functionality (along with less bugs =P), but still very nice.

I like the whole 'Social Marketplace' approach, and I would like to see a lot more bands doing this kind of thing because, lets face it, it's not always easy to get unsigned bands music.
I'm a little unsure about how the selling is going to work, as I'm not able to try it, as I have no music to sell. I'm assuming that, if there isn't already an option for it, you will be allowed to give only a preview of an item you wish to sell, to avoid people just ripping the music.
When my band gets some music recorded I'm sure we'll set an account up here to sell to the masses. =)

I'm also interested in the art selling system, and how that is going to work. I can't see that you could ever sell somebody a file, like a jpg, or bmp, so I can only assume that physical items will be produced..?
It would be good if you could easily sell prints, along with items such as t-shirts, mouse-mats and drinks coasters. I know other sites have done this, but they have a tendancy to rip people off, by charing a large amount of moey for all the products, and returning the artist very little.
For prints, deviantArt would seem to a good option, with the catch that to sell prints you have to pay... What the fuck is with that? I'd sure love to see this site branch out into such areas. =)
